- 1/4 cup Steel Cut Oats
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- a pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp of pure maple syrup
- 1/2 tbsp of salted butter
- 1 tbsp of heavy cream

- Prepare the steel cut oats on a stovetop. Combine 1/4 cup of steel cut oats with 1 1/2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a bowl and then let simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes until they thicken.
