How to make S’mores Bark

This recipe is so quick and easy to throw together, its the perfect summer recipe to make with the kids!

Spread graham crackers evenly on a baking sheet and break up the hersheys bar (this is the perfect step to let the kids help with!)

Arrange the chocolate evenly and then allow to melt in the oven at 350 for 2 minutes or just until soft.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and use a spoon to gently spread the melted chocolate over the graham crackers.

Top the crackers with mini marshmallows. You can space these out if you prefer less (this is usually less messy when eating) or place them right next to each other to fully coat each graham cracker. Just be careful not to overlap the marshmallows and keep and even layer.

Set the oven to broil and place the baking sheet in the oven. Watch the marshmallows the whole time and remove the s’mores bark when they start to turn golden brown. The marshmallows will cook fast – it will look like a time lapse, so don’t want away from the oven. They will easily burn and start smoking.
They usually are reading within one minute.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm and gooey or freeze them for 15 minutes and serve them chilled.

Storage Tips:

If you prefer them chilled, this s’mores bark freezes well in a ziplock bag for up to 3 days. After that, they start to get soft and a little too chewy to enjoy.

If you like them room temperature, thats the best way to store them – place them in a covered container for up to 3 days (if your family lets them last that long!)
