Pumpkin spice chai

What you’ll need:

  • A small saucepan
  • 2 Sachets Harney & Sons Chai Tea (or your favorite unsweetened chai)
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • Pumpkin Spice Sauce (homemade or store-bought)

How to make homemade pumpkin spice sauce:

  • In a small saucepan, bring 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of water to a boil and then simmer on low stirring occasionally until the sugar has melted and you have a simple syrup.
  • Add the 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, 3 tsp pumpkin pie spice, and 1 tsp vanilla extract and allow to simmer for an additional 3 minutes while stirring.
  • Remove from heat and let cool completely before transferring the sauce to a airtight container. 

This recipe makes a little under 1 cup of pumpkin spice sauce (depending on how long you simmer the simple syrup for) – this pumpkin spice chai recipe calls for 2 tbsp.

Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks and enjoy it with all of your favorite Fall themed drinks!
